Marilyn Price-Reinbolt
When Marilyn was a young child, her parents moved the family to New Mexico from Maryland. She graduated from University of New Mexico with an art degree and later went back for a degree in Special Education. She has devoted her working life to programs for people with disabilities.
After retiring from the NM Department of Health, she re-started her work in watercolor. She is an outdoor enthusiast and conservationist, and this interest is obvious when looking at her paintings. Marilyn lives beside the Rio Grande in a log house surrounded by an apple orchard. She hikes, canoes, and skies cross-country.
Marilyn is a signature member of TWS, and the NM Watercolor Society. She exhibits at various Taos venues and participates in the Dixon Studio Tour.
Marilyn also assists NM legislators in Santa Fe when in session.
As an active member of the Taos Plein Aire Painters – she can be seen painting with others along the roadsides and byways of the Taos area throughout most of the year. As a member of these organizations her work can be found at these events and juried exhibitions:
