Jinx Wright
Artist Statement
“My paintings are of scenes which have some special emotional impact for me. Often they are from landscapes I see around Taos, New Mexico or the Western United States. Ancient trees and boulders, melting adobes and canyons capture my attention. In my studio, the watercolor takes on a life of it’s own and I respond to it. Utilizing striking colors and bold forms brings life to my paintings.”
