Cher McMacken
A former art teacher in Seattle, Washington, Cher received a BA from the University of Washington – Seattle. Cher was involved in the US Foreign Service for fourteen years and spent time in Guatemala, Libya, Australia, Austria, Germany, Colombia, and Sudan. While in Australia, she competed for and won entry in the prestigious Caufield Institute of Technology.
Before moving to Taos, Cher and her husband lived in the Hawaiian Islands.
Cher brings this wealth of experience to her paintings and is influenced by the scenery of northern New Mexico.
