Carol Doughty

Since she was a young girl in Minnesota, Carol has enjoyed painting in watercolor.

She studied under Raleigh Kinney and Thomas Owen for a number of years while living in Seattle, WA and Tucson, AZ. She was an administrator for a community college during her professional career before retiring.

Doughty has served in various leadership roles in TWS and has exhibited in many shows in Taos.

Carol honors the joy, beauty and deep meaning of her subjects.

Carol is a signature member of Taos Watercolor Society and has appeared in the following juried shows:
